This 3-Ingredient Mango Sorbet is the perfect dairy-free dessert for Summer! And the best part is you don’t even need an ice cream churner!
Summer is on the way here in Australia and that means sweltering hot days. And on those days where the temperature hits 40℃ and you feel like you’re about to melt, there isn’t much better than a bowl of refreshing sorbet! So with that in mind, this week I’m sharing a recipe for my 3-Ingredient Mango Sorbet!
What is Sorbet?
Sorbet is a frozen fruit dessert that’s very similar to ice cream and is usually always dairy-free. It’s a great alternative for ice cream if you’re lactose intolerant! Also, homemade sorbet can be much healthier because it often contains a LOT less sugar than ice cream or even store-bought sorbets.
How to Make Mango Sorbet
There’s not really much to it, to be honest….all you need to do is add the frozen mango and a little bit of sugar to a food processor or blender and blitz. Then whilst it’s blitzing, add an egg white! Freeze for about 30 minutes to an hour and enjoy! Of course, you don’t have to wait whilst it’s in the freezer if you really don’t want to…it’ll just be like soft serve if you eat it straight away!
Can I Use Other Fruits?
You can definitely swap the mango for other types of fruit! Check out the frozen section at the grocery store for different frozen fruits like berries, pineapple, etc, or you can chop up and freeze your own fruit!

This looks a great and easy recipe to make. One question – Can the sugar be substituted with honey or maple syrup?
Thank you! So far I haven’t tested this recipe with any sugar substitutes but I’m sure it would be just as tasty with either honey for maple syrup! Let me know how it turns out!
