Who doesn’t love a good stir fry? Stir fries are one of my favourite things to have for dinner. They’re quick, easy and fresh, and leftovers can easily be stored in the fridge or freezer! That’s what this recipe is for! It makes quite a big batch so that there’s plenty to take to work for lunch the next day, or have dinner already cooked and waiting.
This recipe (or just about any stir fry recipe) is really customisable. Don’t have broccoli? No problem. Have some beans that need using? Throw them in the wok! There’s absolutely no need to order take out, this dish will be on your table in under 30 minutes!
Super Easy Beef Stir Fry
Ingredients1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 Clove Garlic
500g Flank Steak, cut into strips
1/4 Red Capsicum
1/4 Green Capsicum
1 Red Onion
1/2 Head Broccoli
1 tsp Rice Flour
1 tsp Garlic Salt
Salt & Pepper, to taste
4 cups Cooked Rice, to serve
DirectionsAdd oil to a wok or large saucepan on medium/high heat. Finely dice the garlic and sauté in the pan until golden. Add the beef to the pan and cook until browned. Meanwhile, slice the onion and capsicum and cut the broccoli into florets. Add to wok and stir to combine. Add rice flour to a cup of water and mix in. Add rice flour mixture to wok and season with salt, pepper and garlic salt. Continue cooking until meat is cooked through. Serve with rice.
Notes : This recipe will last up to three to four days in the fridge in an airtight container.
